In April 2025, our 35th trade mission took place in Egypt, with a team of 10 Business Engineering students and 2 students from other business disciplines.

Based in Cairo and Alexandria, the students conducted fieldwork and supported 11 Belgian companies across sectors like textiles, cybersecurity, food, infrastructure, and logistics.

In collaboration with Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) and with support from Haguer Maghdi, the mission included visits to organisations such as Freximbank, World Bank, Besix, Orascom, and an event by the Arab Women Investors Union.

The mission fostered valuable business connections and cultural exchange, showcasing the impact of student-led international engagement.
