Our Partners
Founded in 1978, INISOL — the founding partner of the initiative and a student organization that connects master's students with industry — continues to play a key role in the administrative and logistical organization of the trade mission. It is also represented on the Board of Directors of SBSSA by three delegates.
The VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) is our home university — an Urban Engaged University located in the heart of Europe, Brussels. With 20,000 students, nearly a quarter of whom come from abroad, VUB is a vibrant academic community shaping the future. Through top-tier scientific research and tailored education, the university actively contributes to building a better and more sustainable society.
Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) supports us in the selection process of trade mission destinations as well as the provision of advice and logistical and administrative support through its provincial network in Flanders but foremost by its global network of economic representatives. Furthermore, Flemish companies fulfilling the criteria benefit from FIT’s financial support for market prospection. Through the cooperation agreements of FIT with AWEX and hub.brussels, support is guaranteed in most global locations.
At the level of Alumni, Solvay Schools Alumni (SSA), gathering the VUB and ULB Solvay Schools graduates, opens its international network and since 2023 also contributes through their endowment to the further development of the organization.
Finally, the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its foreign missions also supports the mission, inter alia by supporting the organization of networking activities on location.
The Solvay Business School acts as the main faculty supporting the trade mission. With its expertise in international business and innovation, it provides the academic backbone of the initiative. Thanks to this support, the trade mission gains a solid foundation and enhanced credibility.
